Hattie was a big black hen.

　　I can see a nose and two eyes in the bushes!"

　　"Well well!" said the pig

　　And Hattie said

　　I can see a nose,

　　two eyes and two ears in the bushes!"
两只眼睛和两只耳朵！

　　And they were all so surprised
他们受到了太大的惊吓，

　　that none of them said anything for a very long time.

　　so loudly that the fox was frightened and ran away.
奶牛的叫声太吓人了，吓得狐狸拔腿就跑。

　　But the cow said,"Moo!"
不过，奶牛大叫哞!

　　And Hattie said
母鸡海蒂说：

　　"Goodness gracious me!
天哪！

　　I can see a nose, two eyes,

　　two ears, a body, four legs,
一个身体，四条腿，

　　and a tail in the bushes!
还有一条尾巴！

　　Its a fox! Its a fox!"
是狐狸！是狐狸！

　　And she flew very quickly into a nearby tree.

　　"Oh, no!" said the goose.
